After years of rumors surrounding a clandestine branch of the Khanid military, King Khanid saw an opportunity for a deniable ops group that could work outside the Kingdom.
Asgen Karlson, having already taken part in several different operations, including suspected involvement with the Templar One program in the Kingdom itself, was quietly consulted about the formation of a private corporation in the style of the Caldari State.
While not officially tied to any of the Empires, Khanid Combat Engineering is known to have standings with all of them. It's been observed performing any number of tasks, from deep space location of anomalies and delivery of precious cargo, to destruction of pirate vessels and emergency repairs.
