Officially registered, unofficially respected, and only occasionally on fire, Simela Ice Pickers & Ore Botherers is a proudly underfunded guild of miners, haulers, and professional mutterers dedicated to the noble art of hitting frozen rocks until something profitable falls off.
Founded by a committee of disgruntled engineers and one very determined grandmother with a pickaxe, the corporation operates under the core belief that “if it can be mined, it probably should be,” and if it can’t, well, that just means you haven’t annoyed it enough yet.
Our operations span the ice belts and asteroid fields of Aven, HQ in Simela, where members are trained in advanced techniques such as:

* Arguing with ship AIs about optimal cargo hold arrangements,
* And filing paperwork that no one truly understands, especially the people who wrote it.
