A top-secret project carried out by the Amarr Empire.
Captured enemy capsuleers and even Amarrian capsuleer-criminals were used in experiments to enhance the capabilities of loyal Empire Pilots.
Both the prisoners, and volunteers were implanted with EICO augmentations.
These were then neurally linked using salvaged Sleeper, Drifter, and Triglavian technology.
This resulted in the prisoners entering a semi-vegetative state, while the Imperial pilots exhibited heightened cognitive abilities.
