Vixxen was started by a group of ambitious Impetus producers turned independent from the company in hopes of creating high-demand entertainment for the fringe demographic of capsuleers. Due to rising popularity, scandalous content, and the growing association of Vixxen to premium intergalactic adult entertainment, the company is no longer considered an associated member of the Federation. Impetus publicly denies all forms of partnership yet the common presence of Vixxen's associates and staff in Impetus studios all over New Eden is hard to ignore.
