With the discovery of the EVE Gate, the gods from the Moriya Shrine in Gensokyo on Earth had decided to move out to join the explorers that ventured into New Eden.

Based mainly in Gallente space, the gods together with the Kappas, helped in the rebuilding of the Gallente society, and in the process gained many faithful followers that revered in them and their powers.

Recently with the approval of the gods, Sanae Kochiya, the human-turned-goddess, had decided to form a republic in the Moriya name, to gather all the faithfuls all around New Eden, and to spread the gods' ideology of peace, in the hope that they will form a new religious government that will rival even the empires themselves in the future to come.
