In the beginning, there was a game. A game in which only gigantic corporations and alliances profited, and anybody else was fair game to be beaten to oblivion no matter how good of a pilot they may be and especially if they were outnumbered. This game punished you for anything and everything you did, and allowed an inordinate amount of focus on miners. The miners would drill for the components made for the ships and weapons then used to blow them to smithereens and yet they'd come back and say "can I have some more?" rather than strike for better ships and defenses. The fighters only could kill you if there were ten or more. The alliances just did whatever the hell they wanted since they were so gigantic nobody could do a thing.
This is that game.
P.S: To all the 40+ year old edgelords still in their mommy's basement raging over what I typed in here, truth hurts doesn't it? Get good.
