They gazed, mesmerized, upon the seemingly endless fields of salt.. As if a great sea had once lived there, long since surrendered to time. But no ocean carved this expanse. It was wrought from a conspicuous abundance of tears. And at the horizon, a lone monolith rose, its silhouette disrupting the sterile line.. Built from the generous sacrifices of the lesser, the forgotten. Some still bear memory. A trace of legacy. But alas... even the small skulls add to the Skull Throne.
