Born into a lesser, though affluent, branch of the Tash-Murkon dynasty, Aurum Berkilak lived the majority of his life in unremarkable, sheltered decadence. It wasn't until the disappearance of his father that he was thrust into the Amarrian political sphere. While a competent diplomat, Aurum had no talent for business, and in a family whose relevance lies with its economic acumen, the unprepared heir quickly found himself ostracized and subsequently exiled before he could lead his family into ruin.

Vowing to redeem himself, Aurum Berkilak has immersed himself in the study of galactic history, all the while pursuing risky - and shady - business ventures. His research has unearthed certain clues about Jovian technology that he believes he can take advantage of in order to reclaim his rightful heritage... assuming he can muster the drive and tactical skill required to undertake his self-given mission.
