Katana Masen used to be an officer of Caldari Navy. He spent his 20's with the front line of the Caldari - Gallente Border Zones conflicts. "Without a plan, there's no attack. Without attack, no victory.'' His motto, while he had devoted his youth to the honorest duty, represents how his commands should be.
After his honorable discharge due to his WIA during the covert operation, he made his decision to be a capsuleer.
Although his history after graduating School of applied knowledge is unclear, It's widely acknowledged he's been in the anoikis to expand his own career.
His trail indicates he prefers to have close range combat forms while he's commanding his ships or fleets. According to a recent report from front lines, he tends to prefer to craft his theory rather than to be on the captain's bridge.
In spite of his loyalty to the Caldari state, he's usually regarded as a pacifist. He believes that states can coexist in peace with the Federation as long as the States get involved in the governance of Caldari Prime.
He doesn't seem to be aligned with current States major patriotism.
