William Malabo (in his language "Wilam Alabo) works hard as a rule and for him, risk is part of life. He loves the people that adopted him, and they love him. Deep down however, he would like to find his bio-parents, free them, buy a homestead in a free system, and see to it that they enjoy true freedom for the rest of their lives. Perhaps that is why he works so hard, and also why he hasn't started a family of his own.

Wilam is empathic as well as psychic and has, on more than one occasion, navigated through space, without using the ship's AI Navigation system. His psychic abilities and technical prowess suggests that he is from the Techno-Mage Brutor bloodline and possibly the son of Brutor Techno-Mage Nobles. Only time and fate, will tell. Meanwhile, in his travels, Wilam has met strong, intelligent, and beautiful females that spur his curiosity. He dare not take a mate, and lose sight of his goal of finding and freeing his parents.
