Space Bowie is the incarnation of one of the Infinites, an immortal race of incorpreal beings, that were given corporeal form through the sacrifice of Ziggy Stardust, a prophet personality of the human David Bowie.
To honor the loss of Ziggy, Space Bowie decided to take the surname of the human who's life was lost to bring the Infinites into the world, David Bowie. Recognizing the greatness which humans are capable of, Space Bowie returned to the wormholes, only to find the way home besieged by Sleepers attempting to learn the Infinites secret of immortality. Recognizing that both humans and Infinites could benefit from a collaboration, Space Bowie now makes an effort to usher in a new era of cooperation between the two races. By mapping the ever-twisting labyrinth of connections and encouraging human colonization of Wormholes, Space Bowie hopes to end the Sleeper menace and open the gates between the human and Infinite systems.
