Your blade should be representative of your family lineage and style. Find a blade that represents your ancestors and then find the best quality one you can possibly find. My rule of thumb is your family sowrd should cost about 10% of the cost of your house. You'll pass the house onto future generations and the sword should be lasting dozens of generations. If you rent then just take your annual rent x 30 and divide by 10. This is the endgame sword. You shouldnt feel pressured to get it right away, but you need a plan to get it eventually.
