Artificially produced and raised in one of the last of the State-sanctioned military orphanages, Frederick West represents the pinnacle of Caldari genetic modification technology. Named for two legendary figures from a time before the EVE Gate, Frederick was engineered to embody the Caldari military ideal in every way.

Like many of the more successful Tube Children, Frederick was trained for combat and strategy from his early years until he was old enough to be admitted to the State War Academy. Highly intelligent and independent, Frederick excelled in his training and received various medals and honors before graduating from the Academy.

Fiercely loyal to the Caldari Navy and State, Frederick has taken a solitary position as an esteemed instructor of military strategy at the State War Academy, where he remains an inspirational figure today.
