Born on Airaken II as a citizen of the Caldari State, Kamora Sagari strove from a young age to continue her family\xb4s long and proud history of service to the State. Yet, for reasons still unknown, the Caldari Navy rejected her application. Foul play was suspected but never proven.
Undeterred she enlisted with the Sisters of EVE and underwent their officer\xb4s training program. What followed were several deployments in service of helping the weak, combating disasters and protecting those who could not fight for themselves.
Kamora Sagari\xb4s career came to a screeching halt however when the Guristas Pirate gang identified her and her vessel, the "Sharpened Ray", as the main impediment for their intent of extortion and pillaging. Ambushed by a superior force of paid-off capsuleer pirates, the vessel was lost.
Recovered from the wreckage and awakened from an artificial coma, the young officer was deeply shaken by the experience of near-death in the dark, cold vacuum of space. She had survived. Most of her crew did not - just because protecting others had inconvenienced the agenda of someone out there in the shadows.
While she learned to use her prosthetic arm, which now replaced the one an explosion on board had taken, she asked the big existential questions. Could all the fighting and defending really make a difference when greedy, violent and hateful people were in such ample supply?
She did not tell anyone of that question and of how concerned she was that no answer could be found - even when she was suggested, screened and accepted into the capsuleer training program, sponsored by none other than the Sisters of EVE. Years of harsh study and training passed, yet the question remained. Why fight when there would always be so many who chose that death and destruction were acceptable side-effects of their ambitions?
On the day of graduation, years later, she had still not talked about any of this. It was unbefitting for a Sister of EVE to have such doubts. And so, the festering cancer in her heart had turned the kind, staunch defender into someone else. Something else.
One thing was clear to her: Violence and suffering would never end by themsel. There would always be enough who chose raising their weapons to take what was desired by force.
And so, Kamora Sagari concluded, the only way was to take away that choice from those undeserving of it.
This was when she secretly joined Sansha Kuvakei\xb4s cause...
