Rules for AFK mining:
1. Every now and then, you should deliberately stop your lasers for about 15 minutes, or until someone says something in fleet chat, then you start them again.
2. If someone is to warn you that there are gankers in local, pick a new asteroid and continue mining. Don't worry, they are not coming for you... really...
3. At least 1 time per quarter, you should "forget" to deploy your drones and allow yourself to be killed by belt rats. They need to be fed now and then also... without them, mining would actually be quite boring!
If you are not following these rules, you are not AFK mining correctly.
