Born into a modest Sebiestor tribe, young Christopher trained as a ship crewman at Republic University. Joining the fledgling Kraken Exploration and Janitorial Services aboard the CEO's ship, Gibbs rose rapidly thourhg the ranks of the ship's crew.

It was only on reaching the position of Dirk D'Aguilar's Executive Officer that Gibbs realized that his rapid rise was not due to talent, but rather the criminally high fatality rates aboard D'Aguilar's commands. Gibbs spent the next several months trying to moderate the worst excesses of his insuffereable boor of a Captain, eventually developing neuroses and paranoia similar to those developed by repeatedly abused hostages.

Eventually stealing a shuttle and as much corporate cash as he could manage, Gibbs fled to Jita, knowing that the Caldari would never let D'Aguilar reach this vital trade hub. He fears, however, that D'Aguilar will find him yet, and expect him to hold his loofah again....
