She looked down at her hands, blackened by a long day of fruitlessness. Strewn around her were the many tools she had been using and tossing away. Aaliya frowned, questioning herself internally. "How many hours has it been now? They told you it was dead." Her stomach made clear that it had been a while. With one final attempt, Aaliya flicked on the power, expecting once again to be disappointed. A moment passed, then a spurt of energy emerged from the damaged thruster. "Could it be?" Aaliya this time said aloud, jumping out of the seat of the shuttle and making final adjustments to the damaged area. With a roar the client's shuttle began its new life, perhaps better than before. Aaliya smirked with quiet joy and breathed a sign of relief.
