Like so many of the Mystwerk family, Virgil was groomed since childhood to be a capsuleer in the service of the Gallente Federation. However, marking himself the black sheep of the family, he refused an impressive commission with the Federation Navy and joined an independent capsuleer corporation. He felt true freedom didn’t lie within the confines of the Empires, and so cast of his family name and took up a new one: Nightingale. He keeps in loose contact with his younger brother, Dante, and occasionally convinces him to join in non-Federation sanctioned activity.
