"World Domination" is such an ugly phrase. I prefer, "World Optimization".
The trouble with passing up opportunities is that it is habit-forming. If you tell yourself you are waiting for a better opportunity next time, why, next time you'd probably tell yourself the same thing. Most people spend their whole lives waiting for an opportunity that is good enough, and then they die. While seizing opportunities would mean that all sorts of things go wrong, it's not nearly as bad as being a hopeless lump. After you get into the habit of seizing opportunities, then it is time to start being picky about them.
