A shield and sword are the tongues of wise. Thick armor encases their heart and soul. The only threats to them be the be cruel blades they give, not the ones borne against them, be it of the mind or of metal. The greatest of all strengths a man has are his friends and it is they that he permits, allows, and encourages to hold the daggers that sit beneath his armor and beside his heart.

These people he trusts and he must for they hold unsheathed blades of unseen, shining steel which could soon shimmer crimson in blood of his very heart and soul. It is these, the men and women he loves that can strike lowest and hardest and bow him low to his knees in pain of heart and soul as opposed to glimmering crimson blades dipped in our true blood of still or non-beating hearts.
