Rook entered the galaxy as a peaceful trader when his Iteron II was destroyed by the religious zealots of the Amarr race. They blinded him as their energy weapons tore through his hull. The Armarr raid leader, Vock Nelmore, captured Rook's wife, Kami Onzo. Vock wrongfully assumed that Rook was dead as his smoldering body remained lifeless in the shattered Iteron's control bridge.
Unable to quell his pain, he set his focus on seeking revenge. The mixture of pain, rage and a malfunctioning neural implant, his perception of the universe turned into a series of golden pins of light in his mind. He could now see more clearly into the universe around him. His heart still burns with rage that he will never look upon his wife again with his own eyes. He will wait until he can find her again, lost amongst the stars. Love must wait until his vengeance is satisfied.
