I like to pretend (or roleplay) Auri in EVE is a capsuleer clone owned by the wealthy Amarrian Tash-Murkon Family. Auri was designed for interfacing with the markets. She pays couriers and getting information from others for her. She holds an ornate cane and stands by a wide station window facing space. She often doesn't see those stars. A slaver hound stays close by her.
In real life I remember when the first man landed on the moon. I'm older than most of you EVE players. I brush my hair every morning thinking happy I'm alive for another day. 'TY God'. I keep my white folding cane near my room door. True.
Seven years ago, after my last chemo injection session of six is when I began losing my eye sight. The vessels in my eyes were damaged by the chemo and my sight continued deteriating. Hence I started using a white cane. That's how I play EVE - zero sight in the left eye and a world of haze and halos in the right eye. End of the day .. sometimes no sight. When you lose total sight first time YOU WILL BE SCARED. When you have eye surgeries you are awake and you'll see red (blood) as they cut.
I depend on things be in their same places.
I still have trouble seeing inside stores.
I don't own a TV.
I don't use apps or spreadsheets.
No Discord
I don't use social medias.
I ignore the local chat.
I will ignore your chat invites.
Mail me if you want to say something.
I use a cushion brush for my hair. Guys use combs.
I spend most all my daily playtime just hauling freight loads of ore from the many high-sec Amarrian systems players had sold to me via the market. It's not a secret.
Many of you Amarr players had sold something to me.
I may know when some of you will be online, patterns, & goto sleep.
I often struggle seeing the numbers on the EVE market.
No problem ... Most ALL OF YOU just do that lazy prat 0.01 ISK modifying over and over. Zoo monkeys do that same thing at food dispensers for their monkey chow. It exemplifies what you're like in real life too ** IT DOES **
