Amelia Vivian Shaile was born on an unknown world within the borders of the Khanid Kingdom. The identity of her parents was never recorded, and all official birth registries tied to her genetic signature were either sealed or erased. Her DNA reveals a rare blend of Gallente and Amarr ancestry — a combination politically sensitive in Khanid space, and controversial almost anywhere else.
She was discovered as a child, abandoned on agricultural land near the scarred remains of Caldari Prime, not far from the ruins of Nouvelle Rouvenor — a city destroyed during the Gallente–Caldari conflict.
From an early age, she displayed unusual pattern-recognition aptitude. She was accepted into the Center for Advanced Studies, where her research quickly attracted attention. Her studies were quietly sponsored by Roden Shipyards — officially for “advanced defensive countermeasure research.”
Unofficially, she was working on rogue drone interception.
At the time, reports had begun circulating of an anomalous drone intelligence — one capable of infiltrating capsuleer vessels. Her breakthrough allowed Federation fleets to begin tracking the entity’s movements.
Flying a Myrmidon-class battlecruiser fitted with experimental signal baiting arrays, she initiated a live capture attempt. She positioned herself close to the star of Alentene and broadcast the spoofed entanglement signature.
Within seconds, her ship’s auxiliary systems began reporting unauthorized subroutines executing across non-critical processors. On her signal, allied vessels warped in on her coordinates. It looked, several pilots said, like blue rain falling across the stars, earning herself the callsign 'Bluerain'. Surrounded by vessels equipped with QEC jammers, the AI was trapped inside her Myrmidon. Desperate to escape, the AI rapidly compromised life support systems and worked its way through firewalls effortlessly to gain control of the ship.
With no other option, Amelia aligned toward the system’s star and ejected before critical failure. Her battlecruiser plunged into the corona.
Miloise Roden, current CEO of Roden Shipyards has personally lead the search and rescue team, recovering her body just moments before death. Roden sponsored her ascension as a capsuleer, after which she adopted the name 'Mina Bluerain'.
