The Malek's family have powerful friends within the Amarr Empire. They are known for their engineering skills. Taor was destined to be following his ancestors footsteps.
At a young age, one could see that he was different. His constant questioning of the authority became a source of irritation amongst those who met him. He spent his years of mandatory education in a military academy after questioning the established order.
He did poorly at school. He seemed unwilling to learn the rules and the code of conduct. He finally finished his years in the academy with mentions anti-social behavior and rebellious character.
When he returned home, he was sent to study engineering at the prestigious university of engineers in Amarr. He did well, but attracted much reprimand from his teachers. As he grew, the community seemed to turn against him because of his unorthodox ways.
