Stories past down from generation to generation tell of a strong and proud family enslaved and nearly broken by ruthless Amarr slavers. The strength of the Jade clan made them highly sought after on the Amarrian slave market. Eventually, through cunning and determination they managed to regain their freedom.

In recent years the clan has fallen under attack once again. In a suprise attack, the clan was devistated by a group of slave traders looking to cash in on the reputation of the Jade clan. Davis was beginging his pilot training at the time of the attack and as a result is one of the few remaining members of the Jade clan.

The tragic past and recent attacks by Amarr on his people have fueled his quest.
