Range In optimal, good shot. between optimal and first fall off, okay shot. (closer to optimal is MUCH better) after first fall off, shot becomes all but useless.
Tracking Standstill (use overview to confirm) Best shot. Tracking is same as angular velocity, 50% shot (as if at first fall off) Smaller guns hit bigger ships better and likewsie big to small is worse. Small guns track destroyers 2x better, cruisers 3x, battlecruisers 7x, battleships 10x....roughly speaking. Medium guns track frigates 3x worse, destroyers about half as well, battlecruisers 2x better, battleships 3x better. Large guns track frigates 10x worse, destroyers 5x, cruisers 3x, battlecruisers about 1.5 times worse. Times/Divide your tracking as needed for size modifier to get actual idea of tracking.
