Garviel Loken awoke alone and confused on a moon in the Chaven system at the same moment the mighty Primarch Leman Russ stepped upon the great banquette table in the Emperor’s palace on Terra.
As Leman began to speak Loken’s mind was suddenly filled with dizzying images and information he could not comprehend.
Loken collapsed as Leman Russ stopped speaking, a distant look in his eyes before he disappeared from the great table never to be seen again. When Loken awoke, though he knew not how, he knew where he was and why.
Loken found a retched corrupted Amarrian tradesman wandering seemingly aimlessly around the moon he had awoken upon. Loken illuminated him and burned the body.
2 days later Locasta Tactical was created.
