Malcolm "Mal" Newton is an exploration pilot for Unwritten Corp. flying out of Jita. Mr Newton primarily flies a Buzzard called the Black Lotus. He wants peace and will avoid combat, if possible, but understands that conflict is part of the human condition and that New Eden can be a violent place with little or no sense of justice. Now flying with Eviction-Scouts, Mal has become more of a Retriever pilot (∑ Venetrix) working in fleet mining operations, and is devolping combat skills in a Catalyst Navy Issue destroyer.
