After graduation from the University of Caille's School of Exploration, Ken followed his curiousity to see more of the universe. Traveling through known and wormhole space opened his eyes for the different cultures and peoples in New Eden. So he was learning more and experiencing the beauty and the lonely vastnes of space.
Given this experience he realized that there is often a brutal conflict between capsuleers and local indigenous peoples. As so often, it's the most vulnerable that suffer the most. The orphans of those who tried to defend their own space against marauding capsuleers.
As Ken is aware about his privilege as a capsuleer, he also feels the obligation to give something back. So he patrolls WH Space in order protect the locals and their culturally sensitive landmarks from unscrupulous exploitation through other capsuleers.
