Have you seen the phasmid? Adults are large, with long pale limbs that are partly white and partly beige. They’re pretty hard to spot—possessing amazing mimicry and camouflage skills, they disguise themselves among the plant matter amid the reeds on the Insulindian coast.

Latest sighting: Some teenagers reported seeing one recently in Martinaise.
