"It's true what they say, about the capsuleers. They can be blasphemous, murderous, without care or concern for others. Some, even think themselves gods; they forget where they came from. They will destroy and kill for nothing but the lining of their wallets, or less, and most will make more ISK than you or I will ever see in either of our lifetimes. However... I have also seen the light in them. I have seen what happens when people of different races, ethnicities, and empires join together to do something that most would deem impossible. I have seen the good they can be, and bring, to others- and I believe that you will be the best of them."
- Nat'tan Farron
Aurielle "Rie" Farron was born in rural Mikramurka, though she was raised throughout all the lands of Matar. Daughter of a first generation capsuleer, she had a privileged upbringing that most did not, but her family saw to it that while she was planetside, that they would teach her all about Matar and her peoples, and those that exist beyond. Her father, informed by his experiences as a capsuleer, always stressed the importance of seeing people as individuals, rather than where they come from- while also not compromising on the values that she was taught, and later decided on.
With her soul's essence thought to be wind in the minds of her people, it's no real surprise that Rie has committed herself to the concept of freedom in all its forms. Aligning herself against the slave trade and oppressive methods of rule as a whole, she often finds herself on the opposite end of a gun- having a special hatred for those that willingly turn on and sell off their own. In particular, the Angel Cartel often falls under her scope, especially after she and her corporation completed a year long anti-trafficking deployment in Wicked Creek and Detorid, where the cartel runs rampant.
