Faith was born on Naga V, Aridia, on an undersea city station. Her parents were the baronry who controlled the city and were well-liked within the small colony, as well as in neighboring systems where their water exports allowed colonization in areas where without it would have been impossible.
Faith enlisted in the Imperial Navy at 18 as a reactor technician. She went on numerous campaigns in high security space, often being assigned to Amarr aligned pilots outside of the Navy.
Faith found herself aboard "TES Glorious Dei", an Abaddon piloted by Lunarisse Daphiti. During the Battle of Thebeka Gate, Faith distinguished herself by providing necessary repairs to the ship's failing reactor core, allowing the ship to continue operations in the sector. During the repairs Faith was exposed to a prlonged lethal dose of gamma radiation.
With no time to waste and in an effort to spare her life, Captain Aspenstar rushed her through the capsuleer program.
