Star Commander Ygritte, the Butcher of Veylux, was not born noble — she was forged. Her bloodline, extinct since the Isanamoan Cataclysm, was reinstated by decree when she brought the flayed head of the anti-bishop Kaeltrik before the Red Sanctum. For this, High Princess Aiko anointed her Lady of Ash and granted the ruined moons of Pava as fief.

During the Kor-Azorian Wars, Ygritte served as First Acolyte to Her Highness - a ceremonial title restructured under wartime conditions to mean "Executor of Her Will." In practice, this made her a vessel for divine torment. Her war-casket, St. Verrine, was thus sealed with bone-welds from her first kill - a former commanding officer, whose incompetence Ygritte firmly corrected during the Siege of Blackglass Abyss on Moon XXI.

Lady Ygritte wears the crimson chain of the Hollow Sun cult, looped through her plated throat and soldered at the clavicle. She smells of lilacs, and Kevorian spice. Her favourite hobbies include gardening, singing in the Church choir, and euthanizing stray miners.
