Uncle to Lynn Yi and Ling Yi, Garret originally had been set on the path of a Justicar from birth. He was zealous in his beliefs and the righteousness of his path. It was Lynn, the slave of Ling, that changed things for him forever. Her eyes easily found hypocrisy where he believed there was none. How his beliefs would never stand up within their own court of law, much less under the scientific scrutiny that all of Amarrian technology owed it's existence to. Her words never touched the line of heresy, but made the conflicts obvious leaving him with either the choice to choose to be blind or to be true to what he did not know. Challenging the status quo was out of the question, accomplishing nothing. Disappearing into the void, he now seeks greater knowledge of which he can never find within the Empire, and to his surprise great beauty and darkness as well. The information he passed on to his neice, Sunon, was enough to ensure that Lynn could return to her homeland in Minmatar space.
