No record exists of what Drag Darkin's birth name might have been. She probably wiped it from CONCORD and Federal databanks. What is known about this capsuleer is that she's a trans woman, born to a Minmatar father and a Gallente mother. Her father was born to a Nefantar family in the Ammatar Mandate in service to an upper class Amarr estate, but refused to accept the notion that "this is the way of things." He managed to escape at a young age after a mutiny onboard a non-capsuleered Bestower slave transport aided by Republic commandos, which saw the ship arrive in Minmatar space. He was taken in by the Sebiestor, where he expanded his already vast knowledge of mechanics and engineering.
Draggy's mother is a skilled Gallente hacktivist and investigative journalist, often reporting on shady corporate business practices and - more riskily - their dealings with organized crime syndicates, and then delivering those reports to The Scope. Because of this, she has a less than desireable reputation within the corporate-run Caldari State, and even several organizations in the Federation, including the FIO, have her on several watchlists. She is also wanted dead by the Serpentis Corporation, but cunning and wit don't even allow her pursuers to gather an identity to follow.
Draggy herself takes after both her parents, a skilled hacker and mechanic, a rebellious streak, and a staunch defender of civil liberties. Her family and friends would often find her rummaging through old scrapyards, covered in old grease and grime looking for anything that tickled her fancy. As she attended the Center of Advanced Studies, rose to transhumanism, and chose to be reborn in a female clone, she carries her skills and beliefs with her across the stars.
