"Revered Mother Kephera Pestu, Speaker of the Light Within"

It sounds like an impressive title to an outsider, doesn't it? One that might command respect within the heirarchies of the Amarrian Church? But really, it's just the name of an old frame of mind, perpindicular to mainstream interpretations of scripture, that I just couldn't bear to let die.

When the last Speaker of the Light Within passed away, she was a weary, kind old woman, who had shown my family mercy and compassion. No one important follows the sect anymore. Certainly not publicly. There is no representation within the Admiralty. But there's always got to be hope for those who are downtrodden and tired. So here I am. They pushed the title onto me, because I'm the only one who spoke up. A nobody. I suppose they thought it easier to let name exist for one more generation than push for it to be stricken.

This is why I need to be a capsuleer, 'immortal.' Someone has to speak compassion, even if only a whisper.
