● 200g Bournville chocolate (don’t use the really dark kind)
● 100g butter
● 4 eggs
● 30g cocoa powder
● 2 bars Mint Aero chocolate
1 Heat the oven to 180C
Line a 22cm square tin with baking paper. Put the butter and Bournville chocolate into a small bowl and put it over a pan of barely simmering water. Don’t let the water touch the bottom of the bowl or splash into the bowl or it will ruin the chocolate. Melt it then allow the mixture to cool down.
2 Put the eggs and sugar into a large bowl and, using an electric whisk, whisk them up until they are light and fluffy. Then, gently stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture. Gently fold in the flour and cocoa powder.
3 Pour into the prepared pan and then add the Aero pieces, pushing them into the mixture. Bake for 25-30 mins.
The middle should be sticky, soft and squidgy – yuuuuum!
ENJOY !!
