Casting his sight on his realm, the Lord witnessed The cascade of evil, the torrents of war. Burning with wrath He stepped down from the Heavens To judge the unworthy, To redeem the pure. -The Scriptures, Revelation Verses 2:12

The Rite of Returning Flame The Hymn I. Lament of Exile
O Lord of Eternal Light, We stood in pride and called it strength. We ruled in Your name, yet forgot Your voice. Thus were we cast out— From Providence, the cradle of Your glory, Into the cold silence beyond Your favor.
We have fallen. We have faltered. We have been found wanting.
Cantor: In cineribus prosternimur, in tenebris clamamus. Choir: Per lucem Tuam, Domine, restitue nos.
II. Confession of Sin
We confess our arrogance before Your throne. We mistook dominion for righteousness, Victory for virtue, Command for obedience.
Our hands were strong, but our hearts grew hollow. Our voices were loud, but our faith grew silent.
Strip us of false glory. Burn away our impurity. Let exile be our crucible.
Cantor: In igne confringimur, in igne purificamur. Choir: Per iudicium Tuum, Domine, munda nos.
III. The Crucible of Exile
In the void we wandered, Among the faithless and the profane. We saw what we had become— A shadow of Your will.
Yet even here, Your light endured. In whispers. In prayer. In the ember that would not die.
