Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius McQueen is a veteran of the Chig War. He joined the USMC after his horrible experiences in the A.I. war and quickly worked his way up the ranks leading to his assignment with the legendary 127th squadron, the "Angry Angels". Shortly after the outbreak of open warfare with the Chigs his squadron was slaughtered leaving him being the only survivor. He suffered severe injuries including damage to his inner ear which was corrected by the implantation of a myo-electronic feedback device grounding him because they cannot withstand the g-forces associated with flying attack jet spacecraft. After being assigned to the USS Saratoga he was given command of the 58th squadron also known as the "Wild Cards". He later had his MEF device removed to be able to combat an enemy ace flying an experimental Chig jet. After the end of the war with his squadron disbanded he no longer felt at home with the Marines and resigned his commission. After the breakthrough of pod technology he decided to pilot combat spacecraft once again, but this time not only for fame and glory but for power and wealth as well. Fanatically loyal to his employers he strives to be a valuable asset to his corporation and to be a part of something bigger than himself once again. As a battle hardened combat veteran he is always eager to take up arms and jump head-on into the fray if it serves his corporation, ready to stand his ground to the last breath.
