Before he became a capsuleer, Forge was a mining foreman for a corrupt amarr planetary corporation, an unfortunate mining accident ended with him losing his left eye and becoming paralyzed from the torso down after an explosion from a volatile planetary mineral he was inspecting, the company used his injuries against him, by providing him with the promise of capsuleer immortality so that he could work again, instead they experimented on his body in secret because they knew he couldnt defend himself, that left him physically scarred, the experiments affected his body and made him age rapidly, being held captive for almost 2 years. He was freed by a gallente strike force that attacked the location offering him actual capsuleer rebirth he put his skills to work for them, his real name is outcasted by 99% of his own people because of the corrupt corporation that framed him and now has a new name for Protection given to him by a member of the Gallente Federation.
