For energy our sun converts 700 million tons of hydrogen into 695 million tons of helium every second.
The Sun is part of a solar system formed 4.5 billion years ago. That includes Earth and seven other orbiting planets from Mercury to Neptune. It is not a stationary system our solar system is spining in circles at 134 mps turning with a collection of other stars and star systems.
There are around 200 billion Stars in this collection called the Milkyway an estimated 6 billion of those stars with systems like our own (Our Solar system orbits the milkyway on one of its outer arms).
The Milkyway is one of more than 125 billion Galaxies that makes up the visible universe.
This is the universe 13.7 billon years old. Its really really BIG and its expanding all the time !
And it all stated from something that was smaller than a atom.(Unless you believe in String theory)
