Hello stranger. Do you want to read a nice story? Then let me tell you the story behind this Killmail
First, I'm not a PvP person as you can see from my records. But this one is special... One day, when I was serving in the State militia, I went on on a scouting round in my Manticore. Once I entered Tama, he was there, holding still at 100 km watching over Nourvukaiken gate. He was snipping fragile ships that are not fast enough to escape. I activated my cloak, warped away and got back to the gate to observe the pattern. Every few miutes, he would warp to a different point over Nourvukaiken. Some pilots attempted to approach him in frigates, but he's too far and they would be toast anyway if they continue the approach assuming they survive the first volly.
The best way to get him is to close the distance. Frigates don't have a chance of course as noticed. Anything bigger is too slow. So the best way to approach him was in a very slow stealthy manner. I went back to HS, changed all midslot of my Manticore for brawling action (an AB, scram, web, and a TD just to make sure he really can't track me with these large guns). Went back to Tama and tried to find the best position to start from.
After some warping out and in, I managed to start 60 km away from him. I started my slow boating towards him. He changed his spot, but no matter... I continued flying towards the same old point. I told myself he would return back.
After 20 minutes, he got back to the old spot. I was still 20 km away. But the big moment was almost there... Few minutes later, I reached 12 km. The plan is simple: at 10 km, uncloack, lock the nado, activate the AB, orbit at 7.5 km, scram, web and TD then release the torps.
I reached the 10 km mark. Adrenaline started pumping at the moment I started executing that sequencey. Few seconds after I decloaked, he initiated the warp to the next spot to escape, but he was too slow. I managed to get a lock before he warps, then scramed and webbed him. He got a lock on, and the sound of cannons was loud! The volly passed by. Total miss. I now have him. There's nothing he could do. Torpedoes started hammering his fragile ship! Few vollies and he was done.
I still remember the details as if it happened yesterday... It was indeed a good fight.
