The Twelve Laws of Eve, according to me:

1). Never pilot a boat you can't immediately replace.
2). Never, ever, even on a good day fly with with an outdated clone.
3). Insurance is good, especially if you are prone to losing your boat.
4). Never cry, its ok to scream, but never cry.
5). Do not trust anyone outside of your corporation. They will lie to you and kill you, then they will pilot their boat through your wreckage and laugh at you because you trusted them.
6). Hold a grudge, nourish it, cherish it. and eight months later make good on it.
7). Pods are not mobile targets.
8). It's ok to pilot your boat naked, but it is never a good idea to pilot a naked boat.
9). Never flip a Miner's can. There is a special hell for can-flippers, and it isnt very nice.
10). Never mock any pilot in local chat, it may very likely be the last thing you do.
11). Explore and try new things, but always remember law 5).
12). If you shoot at me you are a dick.
