I was born in deep space, my mother a long range cargo ship captain. She used to keep my crib next to the navigation console and sometimes before I knew how to walk she'd turn down the artifical gravity to and let me float around the main cabin. I never knew my father. Much later in life I found out he was an asteroid miner fond of the juice and short on responsiblity.
For many years I drifted frozen in a derilect cargo ship in a seldom traveled region of space. Only recently have I been able to return to a more active life thanks to new high resolution scaning hardware and a nimble salvage crew.
